NCBA Bank has today rolled out a feature to the NCBA Now app, allowing users to open a fully functional digital account, allow for the instant onboarding of new customers.
Once downloaded, customers will open accounts on the mobile application and input their customer identification details, including ID Card details and photo recognition, as part of the customer verification process.
Speaking on the development, NCBA Group Managing Director John Gachora said, “At NCBA, we are committed to excellence in customer experience. This includes providing convenience and accessibility. That is why we have expanded our platform to enable our customers to have the capacity to open bank accounts on the go. It is well in line with our exciting journey to digital transformation.”
Additionally, customers will be able to set up savings and investment accounts through the mobile application. NCBA Bank assures its customers of advanced security measures, providing a shield of protection for their data on transactions made through the application, instilling confidence in the safety of their financial information.
